I'm happy you're here :)My name is Vanessa, and you may know me from Instagram or TikTok where I post my ramblings about my writing journey, or my love for books. Either or.
I am a teenage author and college student, currently writing my first novel in 'The Severed Threads" (upcoming) Series.

I have nothing here to show... YET.
But perhaps I can share some cool facts with you guys!I had a passion for writing ever since I was young. (I'm talking grade school young.) I loved reading and English had always been my favorite subject, even now. I would always get lower grades on math and get above average on all of my English tests. So, as you can guess, math is not my strong suit.I started writing initially when I was twelve, and I started when I would get grounded and had nothing better to do (HAHA), then I would write for fun on platforms like Wattpad. Now, I wouldn't say I'm talking it seriously, but I definitely am planning on getting my work out there.I am mostly doing this for fun, and for no one else. I've never necessarily dreamed of becoming an author, but rather, sharing my work with others. In hopes that my words could have an impact on someone. That someone could potentially relate to the characters I create in any way.As many people do, I have emotional attachments to books. I want the words that I write, that my heart (and my fingers) bleed for, to resonate with people. That, my friends, is why I want to share my work.

- Do your books contain any “spice”?
:: No! Safe to say, there isn’t. The entire reason I began writing novels and even thinking about publishing them, isn’t only because of my passion for writing, but because I wanted to create something different. Something that portrays love, intimacy, and yearning, rather than “spice”, possession, and lust that is so normalized, not only in literature, but in reality as well. Also due to my own faith and morals, I do not feel comfortable writing any of the sort.- Where are your books available?
:: None of my books are available anywhere at the moment. But thank you for being willing to support :)- What is "The Severed Thread Series" all about?
:: Simply put, the novels in this series all intertwine with one another, following along the journey of two cursed souls who are doomed to a drastic fate of betrayal in each lifetime. Following along with a lot of worldbuilding, some politics (that vary in each book) and my own mythology.
(All that took a lot of brainstorming and time to create.)
